With substantial support from Ohio Third Frontier and corporations, foundations, civic organizations and individuals in the region, it is stimulating the growth of venture-worthy companies in information technology, bioscience and advanced manufacturing.

Between May 2007 and September 2011, CincyTech has:
  • Invested $10 million in 28 companies that have created 207 jobs at an average salary of $63,000.
  • Helped draw $100 million in additional co-investment, a 10:1 ratio of CincyTech funds to private funds.
  • Created $200 million in direct economic impact from those companies through investment capital, revenue, foundation and government grants and loans and corporate partnerships.
  • Drew a total of $17 million invested in its companies from 35 individual investors.
  • Exited its first company, Blue Ash Therapeutics, at 10x ROI.
  • Participated in an $11 million Series B round with AssureRx Health in Mason led by major Silicon Valley venture capital firms Claremont Creek and Sequoia.
  • Led a $2 million round for NanoDetection Technology, a transplant from Tennessee in 2010, which oversubscribed by $300,000.
