Dr. Zeenia Kaul is a biomedical scientist and seasoned executive leader with extensive experience in oncology, aging, and longevity research. With more than a decade of executive leadership in the biotech sector, she co-founded and served as CEO and Chief Scientific Officer of ReHeva Biosciences, where she led global, cross-functional teams to discover and develop novel plant-derived therapeutic assets.
Holding a PhD in Cancer Genetics from the University of Sydney and an MBA from The Ohio State University, Dr. Kaul blends deep scientific expertise with sharp business acumen, financial discipline, and strong interpersonal skills. She has also contributed to advancing translational research and commercialization, including leading capital strategy at The Ohio State University to scale ventures across health and physical sciences.
Her leadership and research contributions have been widely recognized, earning her the Ohio State University Board of Trustees Award, the Fisher College of Business Alumni Professional Achievement Award, and selection as a 40 Under 40 – Columbus honoree. She has been profiled as a Female Disruptor in Authority Magazine and featured on the Conquering Columbus podcast for her impact on science and entrepreneurship.
Born in India, raised in Japan, and educated in Australia, Dr. Kaul brings a global perspective to her work. She currently serves as a Board Member for the Central Ohio chapter of A Kid Again, a nonprofit supporting families raising children with life-threatening conditions.
Based in Dublin, Ohio, with her husband and son, Dr. Kaul enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, riding in Pelotonia, gardening, and exploring healthy cooking.
